キャット･パワー。なにより名前が良いですよね。
だって「猫力」ですよ。猫好きにはたまりません。（関係ないけど）
最近、ベストがでましたなぁ。
このビデオクリップもなにか不思議な感じがします。

Cat PowerことChan Marshallは、1972年、アメリカのジョージア州アトランタ生まれ。 19歳のときに友人からギターをもらい、誘われるままいきなりステージに立ったことが、キャリアの始まり。 やがてNYに移住、 音楽的キャリアを積みながら、Liz Phairのオープニング・アクトを務めるようになる。 インディー・リリースを重ね、1996年にMatadorと契約。 1998年、アルバム「Moon Pix」が高い支持を得、知名度が高まる。 最新作は2003年リリースの「You Are Free」 周りから才能を評価されながらも、気に染まぬレコーディングをつづけていた当時の、鬱屈し閉ざした心を表したようなメロディー。 哀しみから無感覚まで、晴れない毒を抱えながら、やわらかな温度をはらむ海のような包容力。 ツモリチサトのカタログ・モデルの経験もあるという、キュートなルックス。 ライブでは集中力を欠き、やり直しや中断、動揺を露呈してしまう場面も多く、危うさも見せる。
